Phoenix, Arizona — Way to Goal Business Insights announces the release of their latest study Perfectly Virtual: Telehealth for COVID-19 and Beyond, an in-depth study with multi-specialty U.S. physicians on the attitudes and adoption practices of telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Led by President and CEO, Doreen Amatelli-Clark, Way to Goal conducted a qualitative research study on the perceptions and feasibility of telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Doreen and her team interviewed U.S. physicians across six different specialties during the nationwide lockdown. These specialties include primary care, dermatology, cardiology, obstetrics/gynecology, oncology, and psychiatry.
“We saw a need for a study like this in early February when our nation went into lockdown and wanted to help educate the community as we move forward with this new version of normal,” says Amatelli-Clark, “The goal of this study is ultimately to answer the question, is telehealth here to stay?”
With the unprecedented health and economic impacts of COVID-19 around the globe, their team was first-hand witnesses to the implementation of virtual medicine. “Telehealth,” as this phenomenon is most popularly known, is being adopted across all medical specialties in the United States as a means to continue to provide care for patients during the pandemic.
